"Alas! alas! upon it's side,

Plunge, my Retriever, in the tic.
And bring my sinking ship to

So, should misfortune on the pal,
Then may one friend Leside thee stand,
As staunch and stout to brave it's roar,
And bear thee safely to the land.

For thou may'st find, in future hours,
This Summer noon, this sylvan shad",
The time of youthful sports and flowers,

And the heart's rapture-all decay'd.
