4 Nekbakht we hain, jo ghamgín hain is wáste ki we tasalli kiye jáenge.

:

5 Nekbakht hain we, jo halím hain: isliye ki we zamín ke wáris honge.

6 Nekbakht hain we, jo rástí ke bhúkhe aur pyáse hain: is wáste ki we ser honge.

8 Nekbakht hain we, jo sáfdil hain: ki we Khudá ko dekhenge. 9 Nekbakht hain we, jo sulhkarnewále hain: iswáste ki we Khuda ke farzand kahláenge.

10 10 Nekbakht hain we, jo rástí ke wáste satáe játe hain: isliye ki ásmán kí bádsháhat unhín kí hai.

11 Nekbakht ho tum, jab ki log tumhen mere wáste, malámat karen, aur dukh dewen, aur sab tarah ki jhúthí burí báten tumháre haqq men kahen.

12 Khush ho, aur wajd karo: ki tumhárá ajr ásmán par azím hai: isliye ki nabíon ko, jo tum se áge the, isí tarah sataya hai.

13 Tum zamín ke namak ho: aur agar lon ká maza bigar jáwe, to wuh kis chíz se mazadár kiyá jáe? phir wuh kisí kám ká nahín, siwáe is ke, ki báhar phenká jáe, aur logon ke pánw tale malá jáwe.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giv-chirághdán par rakhte hain; tad

eth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17¶Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.

wuh sab ko, jo us ghar men haip, roshni bakhshta hai.

16 So tumhárí roshní ádmíon ke sámhne waisí hí chamke, tá ki we tumháre achchhe kámon ko dekhen, aur tumháre Báp kí, jo ásmán par hai, sitáish karen.

19 Pas jo koí ki in bahut chote hukmon men se ek ko sust kare, aur waisá hí ádmíon ko sikháwe, ásmán kí bádsháhat men kamtarín kahláegá: par jo koí ki amal kare aur sikhláwe, ásmán kí bádsháhat men wahí bará kahláegá.

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against the;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27¶Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a

woman

to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy

22 Par main tumhen kahtá hún, ki Jo koi apne bháí par besabab ghussa howe, adálat se mulzam hogá: aur jo koi apne bháí ko, Raká kahe, majlis men mulzam hogá: par jo koi kahe ki Tú ahmaq hai, átish i jahannam ká sazáwár hogá.

23 Pas agar tú qurbángáh men apná hadiya le jáwe, aur wahán tujhe yád áwe, ki terá bháí tujh se kuchh qaziya rakhta hai;

24 Wahán apne hadiya ko qurbángáh ke sámhne chhorkar chalá já; pahle apne bháí se miláp kar, tab áke apná hadiya guzrán. 25 Jis waqt tak ki tú apne muddai ke sáth ráh men hai, jald us se muwáfaqat kar; tá aisá na howe, ki muddai tujhe qází ke hawala kare, aur qází tujh ko sarbang ke supurd kar de, aur tú qaid men dálá jáwe.

28 Par main tumhen kahtá hún. ki Jo koi shahwat se kisí randí par nigah kare, apne dil men wohin us ke sáth ziná kar chuká.

29 Pas, agar teri dahiní ánkh tere thokar kháne ká báis ho, to use nikál dál aur phenk de: kyúnki tere ązvon meu se ek azo ká na honá tere liye is se bihtar

whole body should be cast into hell.

30 And if thy right hand of fend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of di

vorcement.

32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery; and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

38 Ye have heard that it

hai, ki terá sárá badan jahannam men dálá jáwe.

30 Aur agar terá dahiná háth tere thokar khane ká báis howe, use kát dál, aur phenk de: kyúnki tere ązvon se ek azo ká na honá tere liye is se bihtar hai, ki terá sárá badan jahannam men dálá jáwe.

31 Yih to kahá gaya hai, ki Jo koi apní jorú ko talaq de, use taláqnáma likh dewe:

32 Par main tumhen kahtá hún, ki jo koí apní jorú ko, siwne harámkárí ke, kisí sabab se taláq dewe, use ziná karwátá hai: aur jo koí us randí se, jise taláq diyá gaya hai, nikah kare, ziná kartá

hai.

33 Aur wuh bhí tum sunchuke ho, jo aglon se kahá gayá hai, ki Tú jhúțhí qasam na khá, balki apní qasamon par Ķhudáwand ke liye wafá kar:

34 Par main tumhen kahtá hún, Hargiz qasam na kháná; na tú ásmán kí; kyúnki wuh Khudá ká takht hai:

35 Aur na zamín kí; ki wub us ke pánw kí jagah hai aur na Aurshalím kí; kyúnki wuh bádsháh i azím ká shahr hai.

36 Aur na tú apne sir kí qasam khá, ki tú ek bál ko sufed yá kálá nabín kar saktá.

37 Balki terí guftgú chahiye ki faqat Hán, hán; aur Nahin nahín ho: kyúnki jo is se ziyáda ho, sharr se hota hai.

38 Tum sunchuke ho, jo kahá

hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou

40 Aur agar koi chahe, ki ądálat men tujh par dádķhwáh ho, aur terí qabá utár lewe, kurta bhí use de dál.

44 Par main tumhen kahtá hún, ki apne dushmanon ko piyár karo; aur jo tum par lánat karen, un ke liye barakat chaho; jo tum se adáwat karen, un se neki karo; aur jo tumhen satáwen, aur dukh dewen, un ke liye dua karo;

45 Táki tum apne Báp ke, jo ásmán par hai, farzand ho: kyúnki wuh apne áftáb ko badon aur nekon par tálią karta hai, aur adilon aur zálimon par menh barsátá hai.

46 Ki agar tum unhín ko, jo tumhen dost rakhte hain, dost rakho, to tumhárá kyá ajr hai? kya khirájlenewále yih nahín karte?

47 Aur agar tum faqat apno
