Excerpt from The Student's Guide to the Supreme Court of Judicature Acts, 1873& 1875: Being a Series of Questions and Answers Thereon

The object of the present work is to lay before the Student in the easiest form the contents of the Judicature Acts and Rules, and it is hoped that it may be found useful, not only for the purpose of examination, but to any one desiring a first knowledge of the new system. No attempt has been made by the Author to blend the previous. And the new practice, as he did not consider that any good could result from attempting to do so at the present time, and it would seem that for some con siderable period the study of the new practice will not relieve Students from the study of the old.
