Fine copy, with broad and large margins, but with the map in facsimile. A most interesting Manuscript at the beginning of the volume, where in contemporary handwriting the Letters of Vespuccius, Cortez, etc. are reproduced, probably by the possessor of the book, who wrote on the first leaf: "Ptineo me Remigio print", and who died in 1542 at Aix-la Chapelle, as is stated in a following annotatiou. The MS. notes in the margins, merely lemmata or indications, are in the same handwriting. In somewhat later handwriting follows: Epitome convertendi gentes Indiarum ad fidem Christi .... Authore Nic. Herborn, Regul. Observ. Ord. Minorum Gener. Commissario Cismontano." In all 19 pp. MS. See No 1845-54, and 1870.
