The following series of Letters was commenced in consequence of a request from the Editor of the Record, that the Author would state his opinion as to the effusion, or non-effusion, in 1830, of the Seventh Vial; and was continued as being thought likely to be more extensively read than a longer and more regular exposition of the Apocalypse ; with the idea also that it might be found desirable to pursue the same plan, as opportunity should hereafter occur, in giving the interpretation of the remainder of that Divine Book.
