During the month of July there were received at the Library, by purchase, 901 volumes and 513 pamphlets; by gift, 3,169 volumes and 1,592 pamphlets; and by exchange, 14 volumes and 2,440 pamphlets, making a total of 4,084 volumes and 4,545 pamphlets. There were catalogued 2,038 volumes and 1,691 pamphlets; the number of cards written was 5,458, and of slips for the copying machine 1,424; from the latter were received 9,500 cards.
