During the month of September there were received at the Library, by purchase, 904 volumes and 284 pamphlets; by gift, 428 volumes and 1,946 pamphlets; and by exchange, 173 volumes and 2,534 pamphlets, making a total of 1,505 volumes and 4,764 pamphlets. There were catalogued 2,705 volumes and 1,357 pamphlets; the number of cards written was 4,741, and of slips for the copying machine 2,374; from the latter were received 8,256 cards.
