THE NEW CAPITOL.

For the new Capitol, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

Hamilton Harris, John V. L. Pruyn, Obadiah B. Latham, James S. Thayer, Alonzo B. Cornell, William A, Rice, James Terwilliger, John T. Hudson, are hereby appointed Commissioners for the purpose of erecting a Additional new Capitol, in place of the present Board. The Commissioners are hereby authorized to take possession possession of the said lands and tenements; and if they cannot agree with the owner or owners for the purchase thereof, they shall cause application to be made to the Supreme Court for a writ of inquiry of damages, and such proceedings shall thereupon be had as is provided in the fourth article of title two of chapter nine of the third Review of part of the Revised Statutes.
