The General Assembly convened at Providence, by adjournment, on the fourth Tuesday in January, (being the 22d day of the month,) A. D. 1878, and on the 12th day of April following, adjourned to meet according to law. On the 26th day of April, A. D. 1878, it convened at Providence, pursuant to a proclamation of the Governor, and on the 27th of April, adjourned to meet according to law; (to wit: at Newport, on the 28th day of May, A. D. 1878.)
