REPORT OF THE SECRETARY. To the Board of State Charities and Corrections: The Secretary respectfully presents the following report: Twenty-three regular, and three special meetings have been held during the year; of which, thirteen were before and thirteen after the reorganization of the Board in June; twelve were at the State Farm, and fourteen in the city of Providence. The attendance of members of the Board was as follows: In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 603, Section 5, of the public laws, the Secretary has given bond to the State, in the sum of Six Thousand Dollars, the amount required by the Board; with Prof. George I. Chace, and Ex-Gov. William W. Hoppin as sureties. The bond is in the hands of the General Treasurer. FINANCES.
