ETERNAL Father, who hast promised Thy blessing to the Families that call upon Thy Name, grant Thy blessing to this Household, that every member of the same may faithfully serve Thee. Give unto the Parents grace, both by precept and example, to train up their children in the fear of the Lord; may the children be faithful to their Baptismal vows as members of Thy Mystical Body; and may we all, as a Christian Family, serve Thee in a loving, trustful, and faithful obedience; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

GRANT, O Lord, that Thy servant,

who ministers to us in holy things,

may be enabled so to dispense the mysteries of Thy grace and truth that we, who are committed to his spiritual care, may be built up in our most holy faith and perfected in the energies of a loving obedience; through Thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LORD Jesus Christ, who hast sent Thy ministers before Thee to prepare Thy way, grant to Thy servant (N. . . . . ), the Rector of this Parish, all wisdom and strength needful for his holy task and may all the members of his Parish both enjoy the benefit of his ministrations and co-operate with him in advancing Thy kingdom, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. ALMIGHTY and Everlasting God,

from whom cometh every good and perfect gift; send down upon our Bishop and other clergy, and upon the congregations committed to their charge, the healthful spirit of Thy grace; and that they may truly please Thee, pour upon them the continual dew of Thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honor of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.

DISSIPATE, we meekly beseech

Thee, O Lord Jesus Christ, every self-willed opinion which tends by subversion of the faith to counteract the truth; that as Thou art acknowledged in heaven and in earth to be the one and only God, so Thy people, gathered from all nations, may glorify Thee in the unity of the faith handed down from the beginning. Amen.
