Matt. xii. 22-37.
Mark iii. 19-30.
came down from Jerusalem, they said, This fellow doth said, He hath not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub, the
Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils.

17 But he knowing their thoughts,

Every kingdom divided against itself, is brought to desolation;
and a house divided against a house, falleth.
18 If Satan also be
divided against himself;
how shall his kingdom stand ?
because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

unto you, That every idle word generation of vipers, how can that men shall speak, they ye, being evil, speak good shall give account thereof, in things? for out of the abund- the day of judgment. 37 For ance of the heart the mouth by thy words thou shalt be speaketh. 35 A good man out justified, and by thy words of the good treasure of the thou shalt be condemned.
Luke xi. 16. 29–36.

29 And when the people were
gathered thick together, he answered
he began to say, and said unto them, An evil and adulterous gene
This is an evil generation, seeketh after a sign, ration: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the given it, but the sign of prophet Jonas.
