INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, May 19, 1857.

The Society convened at 10 o'clock, A. M., in College Hall, Indianapolis.

Dr. DANIEL MEEKER, of Laporte, the President elect, took the Chair and called the Society to order.

Drs. T. B. ELLIOTT and F. S. NEWCOMER, Secretaries, were present.

The reading of the minutes of the last meeting was dispensed with, as the published transactions were in the hands of members.
