After the Reports had been read, it was resolved

That they be received and entered on the Minutes of the Meeting, and that such parts of them as the Council shall think fit be printed and distributed among the Fellows.

It was afterwards resolved:

That the thanks of the Society be given to John Evans, Esq., retiring from the office of President.

That the thanks of the Society be given to Professor P. Martin Duncan and R. Etheridge, Esq., retiring from the office of VicePresident.

That the thanks of the Society be given to Prof. T. McKenny Hughes, C. J. A. Meyer, Esq., J. Carrick Moore, Esq., H. C. Sorby, Esq., and Prof. Tennant, retiring from the Council.
