THE revolution of another year has brought the return of that season which imposes on us the pleasing duty of addressing, with the sincerest expressions of gratitude, those to whose candid and truly - liberal encouragement and support we are so much indebted, and whose approbation we have made every exertion, and, as we are extremely happy to find, not unsuccessfully, to obtain. The LADY'S MAGAZINE, through the whole of the long period during which it has now been published, has not deviated from its original plan. It has constantly continued a vehicle for useful instruction and innocent amusement. It has been an asylum for the fugitive pieces produced female genius, whether in its first dawn, or when arrived at more perfect maturity; and with many of these, of very considerable merit, it has occasionally been honoured. Of this the novels now publishing in it from time to time, all of which are the production of ingenious lad are a sufficient proof. Numerous, likewise, are the pieces of original and ingenious poetry which it has ushered into the world, and of which we have lately received many from various Correspondents; some of whom have long favoured us with their pleasing productions, while others have more recently commenced a communication with us.
