LESSON XXXII.

MONDAY.-Ps. lxxviii. 40.-How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert.

TUESDAY.-PS. xcv. 10.-Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

WEDNESDAY.-Heb. iii. 17.—But with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

THURSDAY.-Isa. lxiii. 10.—But they rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

FRIDAY.—Heb. iii. 11.-So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

SATURDAY.-Eph. iv. 30.—And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. SABBATH.-1 Thess. v. 19.-Quench not the Spirit.

MONDAY.-Isa. xlv. 25.-In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

TUESDAY.—Rom. viii. 33.-Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

WEDNESDAY.-John v. 24.-Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

THURSDAY.-Jer. xxiii. 6.-In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. FRIDAY.-Rom. iii. 22.-Even the righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference:

SATURDAY.-2 Cor. v. 21.-For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

SABBATH.-Phil. iii. 9.-And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.

MONDAY 1 John iii. 1.-Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. TUESDAY.-Eph. i. 5.-Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. WEDNESDAY.-Rom. viii. 29.-For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

THURSDAY.--Rom. iv. 16.-Therefore it is by faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.

FRIDAY.-Rom. ix. 26.-And it shall come to pass that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

SATURDAY.-2 Cor. vi. 18.-And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

SABBATH. Rom. viii. 17.-And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ.

MONDAY.-Eph. i. 4.-According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

TUESDAY.-1 Thess. iv. 3.-For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: WEDNESDAY.-John xvii. 17.-Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

THURSDAY.-1 Thess. v. 23.-And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God that your whole spirit, and soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

FRIDAY.-John xvii. 19.-And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

SATURDAY.-1 Cor. i. 2.-Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

SABBATH.-Heb. ii. 11.-For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.

MONDAY. Gen. vi. 9.-These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation, and Noah walked with God.

TUESDAY.-Deut. xviii. 13.-Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

WEDNESDAY.-Job i. 1.-There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

THURSDAY.-PS. xxxvii. 37.-Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright for the end of that man is peace.

FRIDAY: Matt. v. 48.-Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

SATURDAY.-2 Cor. xiii. 9.-For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong and this also we wish, even your perfection. SABBATH.-Heb. xiii. 21.-Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing on his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
