TRINITY SUNDAY.

LMIGHTY, everlasting God of Heaven,
Who unto us, thy servants, grace hast given,
By the confession of a true faith shewn,
The ever-glorious Trinity to own,
And in the power of Majesty on high,
To worship, too, the blessed Unity;
Steadfast for ever in this faith to be,

That thou would'st keep us, Lord, we pray to thee;
From all adversities, whate'er betide,
Do thou defend us, too, on every side,

Who, one Almighty God, whom we adore,
Livest and reignest, now and evermore.

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who hast given unto us thy servants grace by the confession of a true faith to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of the divine Majesty to worship the Unity; we beseech thee, that thou wouldest keep us steadfast in this faith, and evermore defend us from all adversities, who livest and reignest, one God, world without end. Amen.

FIRST SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GOD, the strength of all that trust in thee,
Our prayers accept with gracious clemency;
And as, through weakness of our nature, too,
No good thing we, without thee, ere can do;
Grant us thy grace, the help we sorely need,
That we may please thee, both in will and deed,
By keeping thy commands in everything,

Through Jesus Christ, our blessed Lord and King.

O GOD, the strength of all them that put their trust in thee, mercifully accept our prayers; and because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without thee, grant us the help of thy grace, that in keeping of thy commandments we may please thee, both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

SECOND SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LORD, who ne'er failest to give them thy help,
And govern them, too, from above,

Whom thou of thy goodness dost safely bring up
In thy steadfast fear, and in love;

Beneath the protection of thy providence,
O keep us we earnestly pray,

And a fear and a love of thy holy name,

Through Christ, make us cherish alway.

O LORD, who never failest to help and govern them whom thou dost bring up in thy stedfast fear and love; keep us, we beseech thee, under the protection of thy good providence, and make us to have a perpetual fear and love of thy holy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord Amen.

THIRD SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LORD, we beseech thee, from thy place in Heaven,
In mercy to hear us alway,

And grant unto us, to whom thou hast given,

An hearty desire to pray;

That we, in all dangers, adversities all,
Being mightily aided by thee,

For ever defended and comforted too,

Through Jesus our Saviour, may be.

O LORD, we beseech thee mercifully to hear us; and grant that we, to whom thou hast given an hearty desire to pray, may by thy mighty aid be defended and comforted in all dangers and adversities; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

FOURTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GOD, the protector art thou

Of all that trust in thee solely;

Without whom nothing is strong,
Nothing without thee is holy;
O multiply, Lord, and increase
Thy mercy upon us, we pray,
That now we may safely so pass
Through temporal things that decay,
That finally, thou being our guide,
We may not, O Father, accord,
The things of eternity lose,

For Jesus Christ's sake, our Lord.

O GOD, the protector of all that trust in thee, without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy; increase and multiply upon us thy mercy; that, thou being our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal, that we finally lose not the things eternal: grant this, heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ's sake our Lord. Amen.

FIFTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LORD, we beseech thee to grant,
at things

That, all things being governed by thee,
The course of this world evermore

So peaceably ordered may be ;

e;

That, in all godly quietness here,
Thy Church, as we earnestly pray,
Through Jesus our Saviour and Lord,

May joyfully serve thee alway.

GRANT, O Lord, we beseech thee, that the course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by thy governance, that thy Church may joyfully serve thee, in all godly quietness; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GOD, who, for them that do love thee indeed,

Such good things as man's understanding exceed,

Hast in mercy prepared; O pour and impart
Such love toward thee in our innermost heart;
That we, loving thee above all, may obtain
Thy promises bless'd-an unspeakable gain-
Which, beyond our desire, exceed everything,

Through the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour and King.

O GOD, who hast prepared for them that love thee such good things as pass man's understanding; pour into our hearts such love towards thee, that we, loving thee above all things, may obtain thy promises, which exceed all that we can desire, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

SEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LORD of all power, omnipotent King,

The author and giver of every good thing,
Graft thou in our hearts the love of thy name;
Increase true religion within us alway,

And nourish us too with all goodness, we pray,

And keep us in mercy through Christ in the same.

LORD of all power and might, who art the author and giver of all good things; graft in our hearts the love of thy Name, increase in us true religion, nourish us with all goodness, and of thy great mercy keep us in the same; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

EIGHTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GOD, whose never-failing providence,
And everlasting love,

Doth order all things here on earth,

And all in Heaven above;

All hurtful things from us, good Lord,
In mercy put away,

And give us things that profit us,

Through Christ, we humbly pray.

O GOD, whose never-failing providence ordereth all things both in heaven and earth; we humbly beseech thee to put away from us all hurtful things, and to give us those things which be profitable for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

NINTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GRANT to us, Lord, we implore,

The spirit to think and to do

Both ever, and only such things,
As always be rightful and true;

That we, who, not anything good,
Without thee can ever fulfil,

May, through Christ, be enabled to live
According to thy holy will.

GRANT to us, Lord, we beseech thee, the spirit to think and do always such things as be rightful; that we, who cannot do any thing that is good without thee, may by thee be enabled to live according to thy will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

TENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LET thy ears, all merciful,

For ever open be

To hear thy humble servants, Lord,
In all their prayers to thee;

And their petitions to obtain,

Make them to ask such thing,

And only such as pleaseth thee,

Through Jesus Christ our King.

LET thy merciful ears, O Lord, be open to the prayers of thy humble servants; and that they may obtain their petitions make them to ask such things as shall please thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ELEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

GOD, who declarest thy power-
Almighty that power must be-

Most chiefly in shewing thy mercy,
And pity extended by thee;

In mercy grant us such a measure
Of thy blessed grace to attain,
That we, thy commandments observing,
Thy promises gracious may gain;

And that we of thy heavenly treasure
Be made the partakers, accord,

Through the merits of Him, our Redeemer,

Thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

O GOD, who declarest thy Almighty power most chiefly in showing mercy and pity; mercifully grant unto us such a measure of thy grace, that we, running the way of thy commandments, may obtain thy gracious promises, and be made partakers of thy heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

TWELFTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LMIGHTY, everlasting God, alway

A More ready thou to hear than we to pray,

Thou, too, art wont to give us more than we
Either desire, or deserve from thee;

Pour down upon us, Lord, we pray,
Th' abundance of thy mercy, day by day,
Forgiving us those things we've done and said,
The things whereof our conscience is afraid,

And giving us those good things-great our need-
Which we to ask, not worthy are indeed,

But through the merits of our Lord alone,

And mediation of thy blessed Son.

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who art always more ready to hear than we to pray, and art wont to give more than either we desire, or deserve; pour down upon us the abundance of thy mercy; forgiving us those things whereof our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things which we are not worthy to ask, but through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord. Amen.

THIRTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

LMIGHTY and merciful Father and God,
Of whose only gift it can be,

That thy faithful people are able to do
True and laudable service to thee;

O grant, that by faithfully serving thee here,
Thy heavenly promises plain,

We may finally fail not, O merciful Lord,

Through the merits of Christ to attain.

ALMIGHTY and merciful God, of whose only gift it cometh that thy faithful people do unto thee true and laudable service; grant, we beseech thee, that we may so faithfully serve thee in this life, that we fail not finally to attain thy heavenly promises; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

FOURTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

A

LMIGHTY, everlasting God,

Give unto us, we pray,
Of faith, and hope, and charity,
The increase, day by day;

And that we surely may obtain

What thou dost promise, Lord,
O make us thy commands to love,

Through Jesus Christ, the Word.

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, give unto us the increase of faith, hope and charity; and that we may obtain that which thou dost promise, make us to love that which thou dost command; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

FIFTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY.

THY

HY Church, blessed Lord, we beseech thee to keep
With perpetual mercy of thine,

And because of his frailty man cannot but fall

Without thee, thou Spirit divine;
