Thou mad'ft thy Love to Lazarus legible in thy Tears (See how be loved him, faid the Jews) and shall not I read it in thy Wounds? They faw Love in thy driping Eye, and fhall not I in thy Bleeding Side? They, in the Hot-water thou didst beftow on his Dead Body, and fhall not I fee it in that reaking Blood thou fheddeft for my loft and Dying Soul? O let not my heart be fo hard to fee those Wounds of fo great Love to me, and yet to have no Woundings of Affection for Thee! For thee, Lord! Yes, and all in Heaven and Earth that have Relation to Thee. 1 by bas

I have alfo Love for the Sons of Men, for them efpecially for whom my Lord Jefus fhed his precious Blood, thereby to make them the Sons of God; and Brothers of Chrift: Thy Crofs, O Jefus, fhall make all Mankind my Friends; for where thou gavest thy Blood, why fhou'd not I give my Heart!
