Excerpt from Enoch Restitutus: Or an Attempt to Separate From the Books of Enoch

There are at present in Europe three manu scripts containing the Book of Enoch, which have been translated by the Archbishop of Cashel.

They are written in the ancient Ethiopic or Geez character, and were all brought to Europe by Mr. Bruce, on his return from Abyssinia.

One of them was presented by him to the Bodleian library, another to the library at Paris, and the third still remains among the manu scripts collected during his travels, which are now in the possession of his family.
