WE, the undersigned, ROBERT CRICHTON WYLLIE, Minister of Foreign Relations of His Majesty the King of the Hawaiian Islands, and CHARLES BUNKER, Consul of the United States, for Lahaina, having been authorized by our respective Governments to exchange the Ratifications of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation between His Hawaiian Majesty and the United States, concluded and signed at Washington, on the twentieth day of December, one thousand, eight hundred and forty-nine, certify: That we have, this day, met for that purpose, and after comparing the said Ratifications each with the other, and both with the original of said Treaty, have effected the exchange accordingly.
