THE CALENDAR FOR THE ACADEMICAL YEAR 1884-5: to which are appendea THE PRINCIPAL REGULATIONS FOR DEGREES IN MUSIC AT THE UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD, CAMBRIDGE, SPOTTISWOODE & CO., NEW-STREET SQUARE, E.C. SOLD BY W. REEVES, 185 FLEET STREET, E.C., AND A. HAMMOND & CO., 5 VIGO STREET, REGENT STREET, W. MDCCCLXXXIV. NOTE TO THE PRESENT VOLUME. The recent Pass Lists of the various Local Examinations of the College having outgrown the accommodation formerly accorded them in the Calendar, the Honour Lists only are given in this volume, as far as issued for the current year up to May 30. The List of Doctors and Bachelors in Music of the United Kingdom has been collected with considerable difficulty; therefore any omissions or minor inaccuracies will, it is hoped, be on this account excused, in the absence of any hitherto existing register of English Musical Graduates as a body. The Editor desires to express his thanks to the University Professors of Music and others who have kindly furnished him with official information. **The Editor will be glad to receive corrections for next year's Calendar not later than the 1st May, 1885.
