MDCCCXLIII.

SEELEY, BURNSIDE, AND SEELEY,
FLEET STREET, LONDON.

MDCCCXLIII.

LEONARD SEELEY, PRINTER, THAMES DITTON, SURREY.

The Conductors have again to express their gratitude to God for the increased and increasing degree of favour which He has been pleased to grant to their efforts. In one particular way, this has been peculiarly manifested. The applications they have received, during the past year, to reprint articles which have appeared in this Review, in the form of tracts, have been so numerous, as to be quite embarrassing. As many of these applications have been from unknown friends, they must beg to reply, in this general way, to all, that in truth the demands on their time and attention have mainly prevented their complying with any of these applications.

They would again impress upon the minds of their friends, the importance of making this periodical known in their various circles. They are continually receiving proofs, that it would be acceptable in many quarters where, as yet, it has never been heard of; and they need hardly say, that an increase of its circulation would enable them to effect various enlargements and improvements, which at present are unattainable. They trust and believe, that the necessity for such an effort as is hereby made, is increasingly felt; and they naturally hope, that those who share in this feeling, will act out their conviction in an earnest and cordial manner.
