O us alfo thy finful fervants, trufting in the multitude of thy mercies, vouchsafe to grant fome part and fellowship with thy holy Apostles and Martyrs,[with John, Stephen, Matthias, Barnabas, Ignatius, Alexander, Marcellinus, Peter, Felicitas, Perpetua, Agatha, Lucy, Agnes, Cecilia, Anastasia,]—and with all thy faints, into whofe company we beseech Thee to admit us, not weighing our merits but pardoning our offences; through Christ our Lord. by whom, O Lord, Thou doft ever create, hallow, quicken, blefs, and beftow upon us all thefe good things. (Here let the Priest uncover the Chalice and make the sign of the Cross with the Hoft, faying :) By Him, and with Him, and in Him be unto Thee O God the Father Almighty, in the Unity of the Holy Ghost, (Here let him elevate Chalice and Hoft together, faying :) all honour and glory, (and replacing them, fay aloud:) World without end. DMONISHED by faving precepts, and following divine inftruction, we are bold to say,

ELIVER us, O Lord, we befeech Thee, from all evils past, present, and to come; and at the interceffion of the bleffed and glorious Mary ever-virgin, Mother of God, and of thy bleffed Apostles Peter and Paul and Andrew, with all Saints, graciously give peace in our time, that aided by the help of thy lovingkindness, (Let him uncover the Chalice and take the Hoft with an inclination, Saying:) we may be ever fet free from fin and fecure from all difquietude; (Let him break the Hoft into two equal Parts over the Chalice, whilst he fays:) through the fame thy Son Jefus Christ our Lord, (Then let him break one Part again, Jaying:) who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the Unity of the Holy Ghoft, God, (Let him fay aloud, the two Parts remaining in his left hand, and the third in his right:) World without end. B. Amen. Laying down the two larger Particles of the Hoft on the Paten, let him make three croffes over the Chalice with the third Particle, faying:

Holding the Particle over the Chalice let him fay,

Here making the fign of the Cross, let him place the fmall Particle of the Hoft in the Sacrament of the Blood, faying:

AY this moft holy union of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jefus Chrift be to me, and all who receive It, health of mind and body, and a faving preparation for worthily attaining unto eternal life; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Let the Priest fay the following prayers privately, before communicating, holding the Hoft in both hands:

* In Maffes for the Dead, the Agnus is thus faid, O Lamb of God, that takeft away the fins of the world, Grant them reft. Adding in the third petition, eternal.

GOD the Father, Fount and Source of all goodness, who moved by thy lovingkindness didft will thine Only Begotten to defcend for us into this lower world and to take Flesh, which I unworthy here hold in my hands, (Here let the Priest incline himself towards the Hoft :) I worship Thee, I glorify Thee, I praise Thee with the whole purpose of my mind and heart, and befeech Thee not to forfake us thy fervants; but forgive us our fins, that so we may be enabled to ferve Thee, the only living and true God, with pure heart and chafte body; through the fame Chrift our Lord. Amen.

LORD Jefu Chrift, Son of the living God, who by the will of the Father and the co-operation of the Holy Ghost haft by thy death given life to the world; deliver me, I befeech Thee, by this thy moft holy Body and Blood, from all my iniquities and from every evil; make me ever obedient to thy commandments, and fuffer me not to be for ever separated from Thee, O Saviour of the world: who with God the Father and the fame Holy Ghost livest and reignest God, world without end. Amen.

ET not the Sacrament of thy Body and Blood, O Lord Jefu Chrift, which I, albeit unworthy, receive, be to me for judgment and condemnation; but by thy goodness may It avail for the falvation of my body and foul. Amen. (Let him again incline towards the Hoft, faying :)

AIL evermore most holy Flesh of Christ, to me above all things the fum of delight. May the Body of our Lord Jefus Chrift be for me a finner the Way and the Life. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghoft. Amen.

Holding both parts of the Hoft in his right hand, to make the fign of the Cross before his mouth, let him receive the Body, reverently confuming both Particles.

Then let him fay with great devotion,

AIL evermore Heavenly Drink, to me above all things the fum of delight. May the Body and Blood of our Lord Jefus Chrift avail to me a finner as an eternal healing unto the life everlasting. Amen. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghoft.

When the Priest has communicated himself and cleanfed the lip of the Chalice, let him cover it again with the Pall, incline, and fay devoutly,

GIVE thanks unto Thee, O Lord, holy Father, almighty, everlasting God, who haft renewed me with the most facred Body and Blood of thy Son our Lord Jefus Chrift; and I befeech Thee that this Sacrament of our falvation, which I, an unworthy finner, have received, may not be, according to my deferts, for my judgment or condemnation, but for the prefervation of my body and foul unto everlasting life. Amen.

¶ Then shall the Minifter proceed to deliver the Communion in both kinds, to the Bishops, Priefts, and Deacons, (if any be prefent), and after that to the people also in order, into their hands, all meekly kneeling. And when he delivereth the Bread to any one, he shall fay,

HE Body of our Lord Jefus Chrift, which was given for thee, preserve thy body and foul unto everlasting life. Take and eat This in remembrance that Chrift died for thee, and feed on Him in thy heart by faith with thanksgiving.

'HE Blood of our Lord Jefus Chrift, which was shed for thee, preserve thy body and foul unto everlasting life. Drink This in remembrance that Chrift's Blood was shed for thee, and be thankful.

¶ If the confecrated Bread or Wine be all spent before all have communicated, the Prieft is to confecrate more according to the Form before prescribed; beginning at [Our Saviour Chrift in the fame night, &c.] for the bleffing of the Bread; and at [Likewife after Supper, &c.] for the bleffing of the Cup.

¶ When all have communicated, the Minifter shall return to the Lord's Table, and reverently place upon it what remaineth of the confecrated Elements, covering the fame with a fair linen cloth.

¶ Then shall the Prieft [having inclined lowly and reverently, in the midst of the Altar, extending his hands] Jay the Lord's Prayer, the people repeating after him every Petition.

LORD and heavenly Father, we thy humble fervants entirely defire thy fatherly goodness mercifully to accept this our facrifice of praife and thanksgiving; most humbly befeeching Thee to grant, that by the merits and death of thy Son Jefus Christ, and through faith in his Blood, we and all thy whole Church may obtain remiffion of our fins, and all other benefits of his paffion. And here we offer and prefent unto Thee, O Lord, ourselves, our fouls and bodies, to be a reasonable, holy, and lively facrifice unto Thee; humbly befeeching Thee, that all we, who are partakers of this holy Communion, may be fulfilled with thy grace and heavenly benediction. And although we be unworthy, through our manifold fins, to offer unto Thee any facrifice, yet we beseech Thee to accept This our bounden duty and service; not weighing our merits, but pardoning our offences, (he joins his hands:) through Jefus Christ our Lord; by whom, and with whom, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, all honour and glory be unto Thee, O Father Almighty, world without end. Amen.
