Knevals at the time of her death, said point being in the center of a road leading from the Old Post road, from Poughkeepsie to Wappingers Falls, south to New Hamburg; thence as needle pointed in 1835, north 42°, west about 9 chains to creek formerly known as Cosbury creek; thence north 8°, east along lands formerly of William Fort, 5 chains; thence north 1o, east 2 chains; thence north 18°, east 3 chains 40 links; thence north 23°, east 3 chains 50 links; thence north 39°, east 5 chains 29 links to said Post road; thence along said Post road to its junction with said road leading to New Hamburg; thence along center thereof to beginning, containing 5 to 7 acres by estimation.

Also, all that certain dock known as Vanderbilt Brick Yard Dock situate west of the Hudson River railroad at the southwest corner of the lands above conveyed, together with all and singular the rights and privileges to cross and recross said railroad to said dock, to which George Vanderbilt died seized.

The following is an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the managers of the Society for the Reformation of Juvenile Delinquents in the city of New York, held in the House of Refuge, Randall's Island, on Friday, December 6, 1907.

"Mr. Isaac Townsend of the State Site Commission, presented to the Board a form of an agreement prepared pursuant to chapter 718 of the Laws of 1904, as amended by chapter 133 of the Laws of 1905, by chapter 617 of the Laws of 1906, by chapter 386 of the Laws of 1907, and by chapter 665 of the Laws of 1907, between the People of the State of New York, acting by Dennis McCarthy, Isaac Townsend and Homer Folks, constituting the Commission appointed by His Excellency the Governor, party of the first part, the Society for the Reformation of Juvenile Delinquents in the city of New York, by its President and Board of Managers, party of the second part, and the city of New York, acting by and through its mayor and comptroller, pursuant tɔ resolution of the board of commissioners of the sinking fund of said city, party of the third part.'

This proposed agreement was read to the Board and it was thereupon voted "that the President and Secretary of this Society be directed to execute and deliver the said agreement in the name of the Society under its corporate seal; and that said officers be further authorized and directed to execute such further papers as may be required to carry this agreement into effect."
