sixteen years, and shall take indecent and improper liberties with the person of such child, without committing or intending to commit the crime of rape upon such child, he shall be deemed a felonious assaulter, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison not more than ten years, or by fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.

AN ACT to repeal section fifteen of chapter one hundred fiftyfour of the revised statutes of eighteen hundred forty-six, entitled "Of offenses against property," being section fifteen thousand two hundred ninety-five of the compiled laws of nineteen hundred fifteen, as amended by act number three hundred twenty-three of the public acts of nineteen hundred nineteen, and act number one hundred seventy-nine of the public acts of nineteen hundred twenty-five.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. Section fifteen of chapter one hundred fiftyfour of the revised statutes of eighteen hundred forty-six, entitled "Of offenses against property," being section fifteen thousand two hundred ninety-five of the compiled laws of nineteen hundred fifteen, as amended by act number three hundred twenty-three of the public acts of nineteen hundred nineteen, and act number one hundred seventy-nine of the public acts of nineteen hundred twenty-five, are hereby repealed.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.

AN ACT to amend sections twelve and thirteen of act number three hundred sixty-six of the public acts of nineteen hundred twenty-five, entitled "An act to provide for the protection of game and birds; to regulate the taking, possession, use and transportation of same; to prohibit the sale thereof; to regulate the manner of hunting, pursuing and killing game or birds; to provide a penalty for the violation of any of the provisions of this act."

The People of the State of Michigan enact: SECTION 1. Sections twelve and thirteen of act number three hundred sixty-six of the public acts of nineteen hundred

twenty-five, entitled "An act to provide for the protection of game and birds; to regulate the taking, possession, use and transportation of same; to prohibit the sale thereof; to regulate the manner of hunting, pursuing and killing game or birds; to provide a penalty for the violation of any of the provisions of this act," are hereby amended to read as follows:

SEC. 12. No person shall take, kill or capture in any one Number day more than the following number of any of the game birds may take. or animals mentioned in this act: Ruffed grouse, commonly called partridge; pinnated grouse, commonly called prairie chicken, five; Chinese ring-neck pheasants, two males; black bellied and golden plover and greater and lesser yellow legs, fifteen in the aggregate of all kinds; woodcock, five; snipe and other shore birds, fifteen; geese and brant, combined, five; and ducks, fifteen; fox squirrels, five; rabbits, five. No person shall at any time have in possession more than the following number of any of the game birds or animals mentioned in this act: Ruffed grouse, commonly called partridge, ten; pinnated grouse, commonly called prairie chicken, ten; Chinese ring-neck pheasants, four males; black bellied and golden plover and greater and lesser yellow legs, fifteen in the aggregate of all kinds; woodcock, ten; snipe and other shore birds, twenty-five in all; geese and brant combined, eight; ducks, thirty in all; rabbits, five. No person shall kill in any open season more than twenty of any one kind of the following named game birds, to-wit: Ruffed grouse, commonly called partridge, spruce hens, plover, woodcock, snipe and other shore birds; fifteen geese and brant combined; nor more than four male Chinese ring-neck pheasants; twenty-five pinnated grouse, commonly called prairie chicken; fifteen fox squirrels; and not more than fifty ducks in all during one calendar week: Provided, That spruce hens shall not be hunted or killed until Proviso, the year nineteen hundred thirty. The following provisions hens. relating to waterfowl are modifications and regulations in accordance with the federal law:

Wilson and jack snipe-Open season September fifteenth to December thirty-first, inclusive.

Other shore birds-Protected until nineteen hundred twenty-six.

SEC. 13. The following named game animals and game birds may be hunted and killed as herein provided during the periods named, which shall be the open season: squirrels, October twenty-fifth to October thirty-first, both inclusive; rabbits or hares, October twenty-fifth to January thirty-first, both inclusive: Provided, That the open season on snowshoes, commonly known as jack rabbits, shall be from October twenty-fifth to February fifteenth, both inclusive, except in the upper peninsula, the open season on all rabbits, shall be from October first to February first, both inclusive; pinnated grouse, commonly called prairie chicken, ruffed grouse, commonly called partridge, Chinese ring-neck pheasants and woodcock, October twenty-fifth to October thirtyfirst, both inclusive; rails, black breasted and golden plover and yellow legs, ducks, geese, brant, Wilson or jack snipe, coots and gallinules, September fifteenth to December thirty-first, both inclusive: Provided further, That sheldrake, kittiwakes, or terns and mergansers may be killed at any time when it can be shown that they are destroying brook trout or other fish in any of the waters of this state, by securing a permit to do so from the director of conservation.

AN ACT to amend section three and section five of act number three hundred sixty of the public acts of nineteen hundred thirteen, entitled "An act to provide for the cultivation and increase of wild life in this state by means of the establishment and maintenance of game refuges on private and public lands, for the preservation of waterfowl, wading, game, insectivorous and other birds, in the interest of agriculture, also, game and fur-bearing animals in this state", being section seven thousand five hundred sixty and section seven thousand five hundred sixty-two of the compiled laws of nineteen hundred fifteen.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. SEC. 3. All fees or other moneys received by said Michigan state board of examiners for registration of architects, engineers and surveyors, shall be forwarded to the state treasurer each month and shall be by said treasurer deposited in the state treasury to be disbursed in such manner and for such purposes as may be provided by law.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1.
