Such are the principal arrangements arising out of the International Lesson Movement. What then is needed to render them efficient and operative? Union, Mutual Help, Prayerful and Persevering effort; give these, and the great idea will be a mighty power for good. Let all who have lately joined in united prayer, now engage in united labour. Think of the new scheme, talk of it, pray over it, recommend it, enter into the spirit of it, and help to swell the ranks of those who, through the successive Sabbaths of 1874, shall read, and speak, and hear the same portion of the holy word of God. May we all find the hallowed exercise to be indeed as a divine feast, at which Christ our Master shall occupy the chief place!

Appended is a complete List of Union Publications connected with the Lesson Scheme for 1874.

List of Scripture Lessons for Sunday Schools. Price 1s. per 100.

Every teacher and scholar should be supplied with a copy of this list. It is essential to efficient teaching that all the teachers and all the scholars should know beforehand the lessons to be taught.

Scripture Lesson Book for Elementary Classes. Large type. Published Quarterly, price One Penny. These lessons consist of a selection from the reading portion allotted to the elder classes.

Each Sunday's lesson is also printed on a SINGLE leaf, and sold at One Penny per dozen.

The single leaves, like the Scripture texts, form Scripture handbills; and are intended to be given to the scholars at the close of the day's teaching to carry home and read to their parents.

Scripture Texts for Infant Classes. Very large type. Monthly, price One Penny.

These consist of two Scripture texts, chosen for each Sunday, always relating to the appointed subjects for the day, and almost invariably selected from the reading portions of the elder classes.

A Beautiful Coloured Picture illustration of each "International" Lesson is issued for Infant Class use. Price 4d. each.

Pictorial Lesson Papers. Containing the Golden. Text and the Lesson Verse for Sunday Afternoon, with Home Readings and Questions on the Lesson Subject, and a Pictorial Illustration. Price 4d. per monthly packet (12 for each Sunday).

The Pocket Lesson Book.

Containing the subjects. for each Sunday morning and afternoon,-the Golden Texts, the Lesson Verses, and the Home Readings, forming a convenient Pocket Companion for the Teacher and the Scholar. Published quarterly, price One Penny.

Notes on Scripture Lessons, 33rd year of publication. These well-known helps to the Teacher's preparation, meet with wide and increasing acceptance. No school using the Union lessons should fail to supply every Teacher with a copy in good time.

The Notes are published in advance, so as to allow ample time for early distribution to the teachers.

In the study and in the class nothing is so desirable an aid to effective teaching as suitable illustration, and all who wish to gain practical results should avail themselves of such further means as are afforded by the best works of the kind. The Teacher's Pocket-book and Diary. With tuck, &c., 2s.; with flap and elastic band, 2s. 4d. Read "One Lesson for all. Advantages of the International Series of Uniform Bible Lessons." By Rev. H. CLAY TRUMBULL (Normal Secretary of the American Sunday School Union, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Sunday School Convention). Also "Do You Test your Work? or, Hints on the Review Lesson in Sunday Schools." By Rev. J. H. VINCENT, D.D. (of New York). See Teacher's Cabinet for October, No. 16, price 2d. Sunday School Teacher's Diary, 8d. The Teacher's Pocket-book contains a small-sized edition of the Class Register, a Diary, and the varied particulars usually found in a first-class pocket-book, with some special information relative to Sunday schools.

To aid the teacher's weekly preparation, two pages are set apart for each Sunday's lessons throughout the year. At the top of these pages is printed the date, the lesson subjects and the Golden texts. The remainder of each of these pages is left for notes and memoranda-in fact, for a continuous gathering of daily anecdote and illustration-of Biblical and general information, &c., &c., all designed to aid the weekly preparation of teachers for the efficient instruction and training of their respective classes.

Class Register. Published annually, containing a Calendar, List of Scripture Lessons for the entire year, Ruled Pages for the Weekly Attendance of the Scholars, and of the Cash received from them for Books, &c.; together with several Useful Tables, Jewish Weights and Measures, Jewish Calendar, &c. Cloth, 4d.

The date of each Sunday throughout the year is printed in these Class Registers, and thereby a large amount of trouble is saved. The printed pages (also with dates) set apart for recording the several small sums received from the scholars for the purchase of Bibles, hymn-books, &c., have proved exceedingly useful.

The Smaller Class Register. Contains a List of Lessons and Ruled Pages for the Weekly Attendance of Scholars. Price 2d.

The Biblical Treasury and International Illustrator, published monthly, price One Penny, contains Illustrations, Anecdotes, and Articles of Biblical Criticism, suited to enforce the lessons indicated in the
