These volumes consist of a commentary on the entire Scriptures, except the Book of Revelations. Pellican was a celebrated German divine and reformer; he was a man of extensive learning, and particularly an able Biblical critic. An entire copy of his works is of very rare occurrence. It is stated by Chalmers, in his Biographical Dictionary, that there exists no collected edition amounting to so many volumes as constitute the above.
