CHAP. 35.

An Act respecting the Atikokan Iron Range Railway

Company.

[Assented to 21st May, 1897.]

HEREAS the Atikokan Iron Range Railway Company Preamble. has, by its petition, prayed that the Act incorporating the said Company be revived and amended as hereinafter set forth, and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the said petition: Therefore Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:-

1. Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Act to incor- Time extendporate the Atikokan Iron Range Railway Company, being struction of chapter sixty-one of the statutes of 1891, is hereby revived railway. and declared to be in force, and the time limited for the 1891, c. 61 commencement of the said railway, and expenditure of fifteen per cent of the amount of the capital stock required by section eighty-nine of The Railway Act, is hereby extended 1888, c. 29. for the period of two years from the passing of this Act; and if such expenditure is not so made, and if the railway is not completed within five years from the passing of this Act, then the powers of construction granted to the said Company shall cease and be null and void as respects so much of the railway as then remains uncompleted.
