duce suitable inferences, and familiarly and pointedly apply them to the incidents which daily occur amongst the children, he will find their attention arrested, and a deep interest excited throughout the school; and he may reasonably hope the youngest will carry away impressions of the greatest moment that never afterwards will be entirely effaced, and which are seldom made by merely repeating by rote what otherwise is commonly irksome to learn.

A. Four.

A. Of God.
Q. How far does it extend ?
A. From the 23rd to the 29th page.

Q. What are the subdivisions of the first section?

A. Two, viz. first the natural, and secondly the moral perfections of God; and so on, with the subdivisions of the second and third sections. Then, as the fourth subdivision is again divided into subsections, these must form a separate inquiry; thus, [page 62, &c.]

A. The first subsection treats of his divinity;

A. It is explained to mean a “ Saviour ;” and he is

shown to be a Saviour from the guilt, the do-
minion, and the condemnation of sin.

Messiah ;” and Christ is shown to be the true Messiah from

the fulfilment of prophecies repecting him. Q. What is said of his offices ?" A. He is shown to sustain the three offices of Pro

phet, Priest, and King. Q. What is said of the Holy Ghost ? A. His divinity is first proved, and then he is shown

to sustain the three offices of Teacher, San tifier, and Comforter.
