swering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net. Clywsoch ddywedyd gan y rhai gynt, Na ladd; a phwy bynnag a laddo, euog fydd o farn: eithr yr ydwyf fi yn dywedyd i chwi, Pob un a ddigio wrth ei frawd heb ystyr, a fydd euog o farn: a phwy bynnag a ddywedo wrth ei frawd, Raca, a fydd euog o gyngor; a phwy bynnag a ddywedo, O ynfyd, a fydd euog o dân uffern. Gan hynny, os dygi dy rodd i'r allor, ac yno dyfod i'th gof fod gan dy frawd ddim yn dy erbyn; gâd yno dy rodd ger bron yr allor, a dos ymaith: yn gyntaf cymmoder di a'th frawd, ac yna tyred ac offrwm

walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Nol dull dynol yr ydwyf yn dywedyd, oblegid gwendid eich cnawd chwi: canys megis ag y rhoddasoch eich aelodau yn weision i aflendid ac anwiredd, i anwiredd; felly yr awrhon rhoddwch eich aelodau yn weision i gyfiawnder, i sancteiddrwydd. Canys pan oeddych yn weision pechod, rhyddion oeddych oddiwrth gyfiawnder. Pa ffrwyth gan hynny oedd i chwi y pryd hwnnw o'r pethau y mae arnoch yr awrhon gywilydd o'u plegid? canys diwedd y pethau hyn yw marwolaeth. Ac yr awrhon wedi eich rhyddhâu oddiwrth bechod, a'ch gwneuthur yn weision i Dduw, y mae i chwi eich ffrwyth yn sancteiddrwydd, a'r diwedd yn fywyd tragywyddol. Speak after the manner of men, because of the infirmity of your flesh for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness, and to iniquity, unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness, unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Gospel. St. Mark viii. 1. N those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat and if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way; for divers of them came from far. And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. And they had a few small fishes; and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. And they that had eaten were about four thousand. And he sent them away.

Y nid i'r cnawd, i fyw yn Brodyr, dyledwŷr ydym, ol y cnawd. Canys os byw yr ydych yn ol y cnawd, meirw fyddwch: eithr os ydych yn marweiddio gweithredoedd y corph trwy'r Yspryd, byw fyddwch. Yr Efengyl. St. Matth. vii. 15. YMOGELWCH rhag y gaubrophwydi, y rhai a ddeuant attoch y'ngwisgoedd defaid; ond oddimewn bleiddiaid rheibus ydynt hwy. Wrth eu ffrwythau yr adnabyddwch hwynt. A gasgl rhai rawnwin oddiar ddrain, neu ffigys oddiar ysgall? Felly pob pren da sydd yn dwyn ffrwythau da; ond y pren drwg sydd yn dwyn ffrwythau drwg. Ni ddichon pren da ddwyn ffrwythau drwg; na phren drwg ddwyn ffrwythau da. Pob pren heb ddwyn ffrwyth da, a dorrir i lawr, ac a deflir yn tân. O herwydd paham, wrth eu ffrwythau yr adnabyddwch hwynt. Nid pob un a'r sydd yn dywedyd wrthyf, Arglwydd, Arglwydd, a ddaw i mewn i deyrnas nefoedd; ond yr hwn sydd yn gwneuthur ewyllys fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.

The Epistle. Rom. viii. 12. BR RETHREN, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die, but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

The Gospel. St. Matth. vii. 15.

BEWARE of false prophets, come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits: do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
