G. W. MYLNE,

Author of "Fear Not," "Intercessory Prayer," "Children of the
Old Testament," "Prayers," &c., &c.

Third Series,

AND 23. HOLLES STREET, CAVENDISH SQUARE.

PREFACE.

THE First Two Volumes of these Tracts (Nos. 1 to 48,) having been found very useful, it has been thought well to issue a Third Volume. The contents have already been before the public in the form of separate Tracts, and are still so to be had. It is hoped, however, that to many aged persons, who cannot read small print, and to many sick persons, who can read but little at a time, the books now offered for their perusal will not be unacceptable.

N.B. Vol. I. and II. of " PLAIN WORDS" are

still to be had, uniform with this Volume.

PLAIN TRACTS IN LARGE TYPE.

BY G. W. MYLNE.

WHAT IS YOUR BURDEN?

WHO has not a burden to bear in this world of burdens? All men have some burden or another, and they have the heaviest burden who think that they have none to bear. Do you ask me, Reader, what I mean? Why, is not sin a burdenunpardoned sin? What man has such a heavy load upon his back, as he whose transgressions are not forgiven, whose sins are not coveredas he, who walks about with a burden on him, that will sink him into the bottomless pit, if he have it not taken off him? And yet, for the most part, those are the very men, who do not feel the burden.
