The mixture so calcined is to be ground, beat or rolled to a fine powder, and is then in a fit state for making cement or artificial stone. This powder is to be mixed with a sufficient quantity of water to bring it into the consistency of mortar and thus applied to the purposes wanted.

Página 690 - The specimen here figured is from Mr. Green's collection. I have not been able to identify it with any of the species described. The anterior part of the outer volution, which is not shown in the figure, has a rugose appearance, due to coarse transverse, somewhat wavy or interrupted striae. These are separated by rather wide interspaces, and arch backward from the umbilicus to the dorsal band which is imbricated by them. Formation and locality. Sellersburg beds; Charlestown.
