The price of broken stone at the crushers is 70 cents per ton; it is delivered on the cars to any siding along the railroads for from $1.00 to $1.70 per ton. The greater number of these crushers are set up with elevators, screens and bins, and are well arranged to do economical work. The cost of breaking, together with the cost of loading, varies from 35 to 50 cents per ton.
