The conclusions and recommendations herein are those of the group preparing the appendix and not necessarily those of the Basin Commission. The recommendations of the Great Lakes Basin Commission are included in the Report. The material in this appendix is current through 1970. Because water and related land resources have been the subject of considerable attention recently, the statutes cited herein may have been repealed or amended, new statutes enacted, and judicial interpretations of statutory and common law revised.
