DAVID ABEEL having stated that he had in hand a manuscript, consisting of a journal, observations upon of society in the East, wants of the heathen, &c., Resolved, That this Board forthwith take measures for the publication of said manuscript, under the immediate inspection and agency of Mr. Abeel. The Board of Foreign Missions of the Reformed Dutch Church was organized in 1832, to act in connection and concert with the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. Its funds are paid over to the General Board, to be directed to such objects as may be specified. |
