CALL unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. (Jer. xxxiii. 3, 6.)

:

BLESSED be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His and He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him. (Dan. ii. 20-22.)

THE LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. (Isa. lx. 19.)

THY word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Ps. cxix. 105.)

THE LORD will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness. (Mic. vii. 9.)

THE LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: and thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: in the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. (Deut. xxviii. 65-67.)

JUDGMENT also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. (Isa. xxviii. 17.)

IF, therefore, the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matt. vi. 23.)

BEHOLD, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. (Jer. vii. 8.)

THEY err in vision, they stumble in judgment. (Isa. xxviii. 7.)

IF

ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John viii. 31, 32.)

FOR this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death. (Ps. xlviii. 14.)

THOU in Thy mercy hast led forth the people which Thou hast redeemed: Thou hast guided them in Thy strength unto Thy holy habitation. (Exod. xv. 13.)

CAUSE me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. (Ps. cxliii. 8.)

If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (Matt. vi. 22.)

YE are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thess· v. 5, 6.)

My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure : and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. (Isa. v. 13, 14.)

THEY have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err. (Amos ii. 4.)

THEIR feet run to evil :

their thoughts

are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. (Isa. lix. 7.)

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. (Ps. cxxv. 5.)

Ir thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. (Matt. vi. 23.)

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction: and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. (Prov. v. 22, 23.)

THE LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. (Prov. ii. 6, 8, 9.)

GOOD and upright is the LORD: therefore will He teach sinners in the way. The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way. (Ps. xxv. 8, 9.)

I am continually with Thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (Ps. lxxiii. 23, 24.)
