CALL unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. (Jer. xxxiii. 3, 6.)

THE LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. (Isa. lx. 19.)

JUDGMENT also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. (Isa. xxviii. 17.)

IF, therefore, the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matt. vi. 23.)

If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (Matt. vi. 22.)

YE are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thess· v. 5, 6.)

My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure : and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. (Isa. v. 13, 14.)

THEY have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err. (Amos ii. 4.)

THEIR feet run to evil :

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. (Ps. cxxv. 5.)

Ir thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. (Matt. vi. 23.)

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction: and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. (Prov. v. 22, 23.)

THE LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. (Prov. ii. 6, 8, 9.)

GOOD and upright is the LORD: therefore will He teach sinners in the way. The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way. (Ps. xxv. 8, 9.)

I am continually with Thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (Ps. lxxiii. 23, 24.)
