DR. HODGE'S THEOLOGY COMPLETE. THE third and last volume of Dr. Hodge's Systematic Theology, is now in the hands of the public. It is a work of such magnitude and importance, that it is cause for congratulation that the distinguished author, who lately celebrated the semi-centennial of his connection with Princeton Theological Seminary, should have been spared to carry it to completion. It is a monument to years of patient study and research, such as no American author has ever before erected to himself; and there is no other similar work which so completely furnishes the defenders of the orthodox faith with weapons to meet the assaults of scepticism and infidelity. In completing the work, Dr. Hodge found him. self compelled to extend this third volume to nearly 900 pages, in order to make the discussion of the topics which it covers as full as was necessary.
