When did he speak boldly of Christ?

Ans. When Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. ACTS xviii. 5.

Ans. They opposed themselves, and blasphemed. ACTS xviii. 6.

How did St. Paul meet this opposition?

Ans. He shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. ACTS xviii. 6.

Ans. This continued by the space of two years. ACTS xix. 10.

What did many of the Gentile converts do?

Ans. Many that believed came, and confessed, and showed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men; and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. ACTS xix.
