Keep Thy servant also from presumptuous sins, lest they get the dominion over me : so shall I be undefiled, and innocent from the great offence.

IN MY BAPTISM I did renounce the Devil and all his works, the pomps and vanity of this wicked world, and all the sinful lusts of the flesh,
And I did promise (God being my helper) to keep His holy will and commandments, and to walk in the same all the days of my life.
The Articles of the Christian Faith. I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried, He descended into Hell; The third day He rose again from the dead, He ascended into Heaven, And sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; The Holy Catholic Church; The Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of Sins; The Resurrection of the Body, And the Life Everlasting. Amen.

For Conversion from Sin. O LORD Jesu Christ, Who at Thy first coming
didst send Thy messenger to prepare Thy way before Thee; Grant that the ministers and stewards of Thy mysteries may likewise so prepare and make ready Thy way, by Turning the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, that at Thy second coming to judge the world we may be found an acceptable people in Thy sight, Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
For Pardon. O LORD, we beseech Thee favourably to hear
the prayers of Thy people; that we, who are justly punished for our offences, may be mercifully delivered by Thy goodness, for the glory of Thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Saviour, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
For Purity. O GOD, whose. Blessed Son was manifested
that He might destroy the works of the devil, and make us the sons of God, and heirs of eternal life; Grant us, we beseech Thee, that, having this hope, we may purify ourselves, even as He is pure; that, when He shall appear again with power and great glory, we may be made like unto Him in His eternal and glorious kingdom; where with Thee, O Father, and Thee, O Holy Ghost, He liveth and reigneth, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
Over me to shelter me,
Before me to guide me,
After me to forward me,
Now and evermore.
love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.
