depart in peace : according to Thy word.

For mine eyes have seen : Thy salvation.

Which Thou hast prepared : before the face of all people ;

To be a light to lighten the Gentiles : and to be the glory of Thy people Israel.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son : and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now,

and ever shall be : world without end. Amen.

O ;

look in mercy, we beseech Thee, upon the tribes of Israel, Thy chosen people, whom Thou hast, according to Thy threatened judgments, dispersed among the nations of the earth. Be pleased to take the veil from their hearts, and bring them to the knowledge of Jesus as their Messiah. Hasten the glorious time when He Who scattered Israel shall gather him, and Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit; and when, from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Thy Name shall be great among the Gentiles. Grant this for Thy dear Son's sake, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
