T THE Day of Our Lord's Resurrection, commonly called Easter Day (on which the rest depend), is always the First Sunday after the Full Moon which happens upon, or next after the Twentyfirst Day of March; and if the Full Moon happens upon a Sunday, Easter Day is the Sunday after. Advent Sunday is always the nearest Sunday to the 30th of November, whether before or after. I. The Twentieth of June, being the Day of Her Majesty the Queen's Accession to the Throne. II. To make use of the preceding Table, find the Sunday Letter for the Year in the uppermost Line, and the Golden Number, or Prime, in the Column of Golden Numbers and against the Prime, in the same Line under the Sunday Letter, you have the Day of the Month on which Easter falleth that Year. But Note, that the Name of the Month is set on the Left Hand, or just with the Figure, and followeth not, as in other Tables, by Descent, but Collateral. |
