(cante and zani) to be well in heart, to be tranquil or of good cheer,-ćanma zani. can-ze', v. n. to be troubled, to have a load on the heart,-canmaze. can-ze'-ka, adj. troubled, ---ćanmazeka. can-ze'-ya, v. a. to trouble, to make angry, — canzewaya. can-ze'-ya, adv. angrily. éan-żan'-ya, adv. (bante and zata) undecidedly, hesitatingly. can-zan'-ye-ca, v. a. to make undecided, make hesitate,—ćanzanwayeća. éan, n. a tree, trees ; wood. can, n. a night or day. This is always used after the numeral adjective, as nonpa ćaŋ, yamni can, etc. In this way it is distinguished from the preceding word.
